Ostara (or Eostre, or the Vernal or Spring Equinox) is the time of Spring planting. Having plants, especially plants which you’ve grown yourself from cuttings or seed, is a valuable aid to keeping a connection with the great Wheel of Life.
The Ostara Seed Ritual requires preparation. In the weeks before the Sabbat, you’ll go on a pilgrimage into nature to collect some things. Of course, if you are unable to go on the pilgrimage, you’ll be able to purchase them instead.
You’ll also need to purchase the supplies for performing the “Planting the Seeds of Desire” spell. I personally find it easier to purchase items when I know what they look like and can get an idea of what to look for. With that in mind, I’ve listed most of the supplies you’ll need below.
